WKU Mountain Workshops Come To an End

Western Kentucky University’s annual Mountain Workshops ran this week in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.  The workshop comprises students and professionals from all over the country who spend the week documenting life in a small town in Kentucky.  This year’s workshop included more than 70 photojouralism and multimedia participants who produced stories for the Mountain Workshops website.

Each participant was given a story to work on throughout the week (check out my story here).  Between working on their story they were expected to shoot feature photos throughout the town.  Each participant is put in a group with a photo coach.  These coaches included professionals from around the nation, some with very prestigious awards to their name.  Below is a list of some of the coaches with links to their websites.
